Classically trained in England at the Reading School of Art and in Paris at L'Ecole de la Grande Chaumier as a painter and scupltor, Mace's work is boldly structured yet keeps a spontaneity and the freshness of each medium. Mace had an early career as a city planner in Boston and in Chicago. In 1986, he joined Wenniger Gallery as treasurer and partner. Mace Wenniger works in his studio on Goose Cove in Gloucester and is available to paint portraits of children and young adults by appointment, on commission.
